Orlando has been working as an actor and teacher in the UK, Europe and the US for over 20 years, exploring different approaches to performance and leading creativity workshops for artists working in many different fields. His teaching draws on techniques from Jungian dreamwork, Stanislavski, Meisner, Improvisation, Mask, and Clown, and aims to help his students make a deep, personal connection to their work whilst also being present and available for all the moment has to offer.
Orlando studied at Oxford University, the Conservatoire National Superieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris, and the Ecole Philippe Gaulier. Whilst living in LA he continued to study Meisner technique and began to explore Jungian approaches to creative work with Sandra Seacat and Kim Gillingham.
He’s been fortunate enough to enjoy an extremely varied career on stage (RSC, Almeida, Young Vic, West End, West Yorkshire Playhouse) and screen (IT Crowd, Count Arthur Strong, Doll and Em (HBO), the West Wing, Mr Selfridge, Reign, Sleepy Hollow, Krod Mandoon, Ghost Whisperer, Monk, Casualty, Pride and Prejudice, Bobby, Mini’s First Time, The Onion Movie, Caffeine, Hamlet, Hysteria).
Aside from his work as an actor Orlando also performs with his band Orlando Seale and The Swell. (www.orlandoseale.com).
