Dominic Woodhead

A graduate of the Musical Theatre program at the QLD Conservatorium, Dominic is a highly skilled musician and multi-instrumentalist working in a wide variety of styles of performance over his life. He made his debut at age 15, conducting at the Qld Pop’s Orchestra’s: Celtic Celebration’s concert at QPAC in May 2011. Dominic’s Musical Directing credits include 35mm (2015 – Australian Premier), Villains (2015), Carrie (2016), Sweet Charity (2016) Edges (2016), The Life (2016), Boys of Sondheim (2017), Jack of Two Trades (2017), Pirates of Penzance (2018), Little Women (2018), Spring Awakening (2018), Rhonda Burchmore: Bang Bang (2018). His stage credits include Hamburg Ballet’s: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2012), Carousel (2013), Miss Saigon(2013), Hair (2013), Into The Woods (2014), Songs For Sarah Connor- MICF (2016). Other credits include Lord Mayors Christmas Carols (2012-2013), ADPI Showcase (2013-2016), Qld Cabaret Festival (2014-2016), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (2015), Rent (2015), Cool Britannia (2015-2016), Heathers (2016), Underground Broadway (2016), Once Upon a Time (2016),Stranger Songs (2016) Rent (2016), Great Composer’s of London’s West end (2017), A Fine Romance (2017) Twelfth Night (2018), Frankly Sinatra (2018). Dom is also an active composer and arranger and is currently in the process of workshopping his musical collaborations with Jackson McGovern.
