Robyn Arthur

Robyn Arthur is one of Australia's leading theatre performers with over 40 years in the industry. Robyn most recently reprised her role as Marion Woolnough in the Production Company’s, THE BOY FROM OZ. She originally played the role in 2011 production alongside Todd McKenney.

Some other theatre highlights include a tour around Australia and Tokyo with Jonathan Church’s SINGING IN THE RAIN (Dainty Organisation). Geoffrey Atherden’s MOTHER AND SON directed by Roger Hodgman, Mrs Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST with Hugh Jackman, she relished and Robyn will be long remembered for her performance as Madame Thenardier (Victorian GRA) in the glorious original cast of LES MISERABLES (Trevor Nunn and Gale Edwards).

In 2007, she was nominated for a Helpmann Award - Australian premiere of Sideshow Alley (Keelan/Young) for QPAC. Other theatre highlights include MY FAIR LADY (Opera Australia); MINEFIELDS AND MINISKIRTS (Terence O’Connell/ Malthouse), SWEENEY TODD (Opera Queensland); Stephen Sondheim’s COMPANY (STC) and AWAY directed by Michael Gow (STC). Television credits include: ROSEHAVEN, SISTERS, WOODLEY, NEIGHBOURS as Delta Goodrem's manager Melody Jones. Film highlights: CHARLOTTE’S WEB with Dakota Fanning and Tropfest ‘18 HOARDER CONTROL (Nicholas Colla). Robyn’s been a proud member of Actors Equity since 1975 and serves on the Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust (VABT).
