Tony McGill

Tony is a performer of international standing. One of Australia’s busiest actor/musicians his onstage credits here include, Annie, 42nd Street, The Secret Garden, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well, Closer than Ever and Much Ado About Nothing. Tony was also assistant conductor for the Australian productions of Anything Goes, The Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Boulevard. He has been Musical Director/vocal coach for many performers including Marina Prior, Hugh Jackman and Rachel Beck.

Since moving to London in early 2012 Tony has appeared in Damn Yankees (Landor theatre) Gypsy (The Curve, Leicester); West Side Story (Sage Gateshead, Newcastle), The Wind in the Willows (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden), High Society, (UK tour) Guys and Dolls (West End and UK tour) and Cats (International tour).

A founding member of the Australian comedy/vocal group, Combo Fiasco, Tony toured extensively with them for twelve years. Popular on the New York cabaret scene Combo Fiasco were celebrated on numerous radio and television shows - including the NBC Today Show. The trio also performed at many international arts festivals and recorded three CD’s.

From 2006 to 2011 Tony was Head of Musical Theatre at Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore. Tony has taught at major London performing arts colleges including Mountview Theatre Academy, the Urdang Academy, Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Associated Studios.
